The likely builder is scheduled to be in Wapello on July 14, but a person issue he questioned about was town incentives, Maine ongoing.
An current assets tax incentive software would not help the builder because the incentives would go back again to the company workplace and not the builder, Maine mentioned.
Nonetheless, the town could create a tax increment financing district in the retailer spot and rebate the builder by that profits.
“I’m pro-business and anything at all we can do, I’m kind of for that,” he explained, introducing he understood the proposal would include things like tearing down the previous Jack and Jill setting up and constructing a new setting up.
Maine indicated he will continue to keep the metropolis council current on what he learns soon after the July 14 assembly.
